Rule #1: Share a New Way of Tackling a Problem

  Your primary goal should not be to data dump all of your niche knowledge or “expert” information.  Instead, show your readers how to think differently about a problem that has plagued them.  Have them reconsider the challenge with fresh eyes, or a unique perspective, a different vantage point that they may not have considered.  This is your what will inspire and empower that small subset of your audience to hire you, or to see you speak, connect with your community immediately after finishing your book.
